CodeIgniter tutorial series

This is going to be a collection of links to my ongoing code igniter tutorial, in which I show you how to build a complete web app using the MVC framework.

Part 1 – Hello world

In this part, we talk about setting up your development environment, installing the framework and getting it to say Hello World. It also gives a brief overview of the folder structure of the framework and introduces you to the MVC concepts.

Part 2 – .htaccess

In this part, I show you how to use a .htaccess file to give you nice clean URL’s. Its a very short tutorial, giving a brief introduction into how .htaccess works, so if your a PHP guru, you can skip this one, and wait for part 3 =).

Part 3 – Views

I’ve had to delay this a lot longer then I wanted to, but have been too busy with exams, will hopefully get it up just after the weekend.
